Financial Accountant (m/f/d)

• Responsibility for ongoing financial accounting and general ledger accounting activities. • Recording expenses, assigning account codes, and processing the associated business transactions. • Applying basic knowledge of German tax law and accounting principles, as well as appropriately allocating expenses to the corresponding general ledger accounts based on the respective business transactions. • Assisting with the monthly closing activities and ensuring the accuracy and completeness of accounting data. • Preparing and compiling monthly consolidated financial reports and other relevant financial documents and submitting them to the external tax advisor. • Coordinating with external partners as needed, particularly lawyers and tax advisors. • Supporting the transition of the financial system to Oracle and the associated process adjustments. • Taking on additional tasks related to the company's ongoing financial accounting and finance operations.

• Successfully completed university studies in economics or business administration with a focus on finance, or an equivalent qualification. • At least 2–3 years of practical professional experience in finance and accounting. • Practical experience in financial accounting, general ledger accounting, or a comparable role in Germany. • Good knowledge of German tax law and accounting principles, as well as of coding common business transactions. • Experience with Oracle or other ERP/financial systems is an advantage. • Very good written and spoken German skills. • Strong numerical aptitude, accuracy, and sense of responsibility.
